StepUp Tulsa! Economic Development Team Featured at Press Club "Page One Lunch"

StepUp Tulsa! will be featured on Tuesday, December
5, at the Tulsa Press Club's Page One Luncheon.
Economic Development Champions Barry Davis and Tom
Walker will present StepUp Tulsa!'s business plan
for a Tulsa Innovation Institute and other Big Ideas
promoting the region's economic development. This is
a great opportunity to learn the details of the
Economic Development business plan - and show your
support for StepUp Tulsa!
The cost is $12 for members and $15 for non-members.
Page One luncheons are by reservation only and the
public is invited to attend.

Daily Oklahoman Features StepUp Tulsa! Economic Development Plan

The Daily Oklahoman featured the StepUp Tulsa!
Economic Development business plan in its Nov. 28
edition.
"Volunteer think tank develops initiatives to build
Tulsa's future," was the headline on the Business
Section article. It heralded the proposed Innovation
Institute and noted that steps already are underway
to organize the center to house a business
incubator, after-school programs, and Tulsa Research
Partners ... among other things.

StepUp Tulsa! Leaders Present Call to Action
|
|
A new era of StepUp Tulsa! was launched Tuesday,
November 28, at a stakeholders' meeting at Bernsen
Center.
Chairpersons Jim Adelson and Sam Combs
declared, "We have entered a new phase - a phase of
take our business plans to brief community leaders
and, importantly, community funders to make our
dreams possible."
Adelson and Combs presented stakeholders with a
"presentation kit" - including facts and figures on
all five "trendbender" business plans, info about
StepUp Tulsa!, and postcards soliciting referrals
for speaking engagement and presentations to
prospective funders. The encouraged all stakeholders
to use their "sales kits" to help move StepUp
Tulsa's! bold ideas forward.
